Transition into March

Happy Tuesday my friends! This past Sunday I had a photo shoot with one of my friends who so sweetly took these photos for me.  I couldn’t had asked for a better photo shoot day it was so sunny with a lovely breeze. Could everyday please be like this here in Mississippi?  I live for the days for when it’s sunny and warm.

I have found this dress to be such a great transition piece into this awkward time of the year when the weather can’t make it’s mind up if it wants to be hot or cold. You know what I am talking about when one day it will be sunny and high 70° and the next day your digging out all your winter clothes. This happens every year here in Mississippi and it’s always such a mystery to what I will be wearing the next day. But I guess that’s what happens when you live in the south. Which I wouldn’t ever trade!

I think this dress is perfect. It’s lightweight, very modest, and such a beautiful blue color. I love the fun print and the cinched waist it offers. This dress has it all! I find it best worn at church, wedding shower parties, and baby showers. If you had a small baby bump I think you could wear this for a cute maternity option too! This dress fits true to size and for sizing reference I’m 5’5 and it hits me at a good length.

This dress is currently on sale for $29.97 plus additional 20% off at checkout. So I would suggest buying this dress soon!

This top necklace is my favorite necklace ever! This necklace is a splurge, but it goes with everything and lasts forever! I am sure a lot of my readers are familiar with this necklace and the brand, but I literally can’t get enough of this brand! If you enter your email you will receive 15%  off your purchase.

The bottom necklace I have recently added to my jewelry collection and I am so glad I did! It has been perfect to pair with my Kendra Scott necklace (above.) I don’t think I’ve taken it off since I bought it.  It’s so affordable and makes a great layering necklace. It’s only $14.99 and comes in two color options.

My favorite trend this season is mules they make such a simple outfit turn into something so much more fun. These mules aren’t available with the retailer I got them from anymore. (Apparently everyone liked them too!)  I am going to link some that’s a similar option here though.  There a little more expensive than I paid for mine, but they come from a great retailer so I do believe they would make great shoes! I am linking  another pair here if your looking for a more affordable route.
