Hello loves! I hope ya’ll are having a great week! I have been working out and setting some personal goals for myself this week. Does anyone else have some goals they are trying to achieve? Let me know in the comments below I would love to hear!
I wanna talk more about this pink floral dress. This dress is lightweight, soft, and has a criss-cross neckline that I adore! The print is so sweet and great for the warmer weather ahead. Dresses really our my favorite things to dress in, they can just explain a lot about a girl. Your clothes can express who you are. If you pay attention to what people wear you can learn more about them before they even open their mouth. Isn’t that a crazy thought? I am not saying to judge a person based on what they wear (make note.) I simply think that even though you aren’t necessarily trying to speak through your clothes in some form or fashion (no pun intended.) You still speak about yourself to others through your clothes. The reason I picked this dress was to express to others I was feeling very excited about new things coming to my life. To just share a few joyful things with you I have coming into my life here our a few things:
1. One of the most exciting things coming to my life – I have a future nephew/niece on the way. She or he will be here in June! I am already a super proud aunt to a handsome 5 year old boy named, Hendrix. He is pretty much my entire world and he defiantly has me wrapped around his fingers. To have another little baby around and get to do the same things I got to do with Hendrix makes me so happy. Can’t wait for little baby Q to get here!
2. I am working out all the kinks to my blog, but I am looking forward to the blog and my Instagram future. My followers have been so incredible and I am hoping to gain more followers through these next few month and to increase engagement with the ones I already have. Thank you so much for the support!
3. I have been blessed with just simple everyday life material things like my house, my car, and of course, my clothes. I just hope to never discredit those things even though we have been so easily thrown into the world of “your rights,” because there not my rights, there my blessings. I know others aren’t as fortunate as I am and I hope I never come numb to this.
I am sorry for rambling on about life, but I think it’s important for us to remember what brings us joy and happiness. I think it can be easy for us to get caught up with the routine of life and we can forget how super blessed we are. Including myself, like yesterday I was in Home Goods wishing to have all the pretty things in there, but in reality yes all those things would be so lovely to have in my home, but none of those things will bring me true joy. (Only the good Lord can do that.)
I hope just these few little paragraphs have given you a little more of a fresh look on life and I encourage you to write just three things down (or more if you want to) of things that make you joyful. Truthfully, I didn’t want to stop at just three things that I was joyful about, but for your sake I stopped. If you decide to write three things down I would love for you to let me know either in the comments down below or on my instagram direct messages. We shouldn’t forget everyday things that make us happy, rather that being, walking our dog or cooking supper with a loved one. It’s important for us to show others our joyful hearts as well. If you feel excited and joyful let others know by showing love through your actions like holding the door for someone or paying for someone coffee through the Starbucks line. This being said, all I can think about is one of my favorite quotes ” Ah, kindness. What a simply way to tell another struggling soul that there is love to be found in the world.”- A. A. Malee.
Now that I have taken so much of your time, I will now get back to this sweet colorful dress. This dress fits true to size. If between size I would suggest going down a size. It is defiantly a great dress for spring and I can’t wait for this weather to warm up so I can wear it! It has a criss-cross neckline as well, but it doesn’t cut low at all. This dress comes in six color options and is currently on sale for only $15 with additional 15% and there is a maternity sizes available for only $18 with an additional 15% as well at checkout.
These mules are my go to and you will probably will be seeing a lot of them on my blog (sorry not sorry.) The retailer I bought them from is currently sold out, but I will link another similar pair here. I would suggest ordering your normal size.
I have been wearing this layer of necklaces for like a month straight. They pair so well together and go with everything! I linked the top one here. I will say the top one is more expensive usually then I would suggest buying, but it so durable and it’s goes with everything! I will link the second necklace here and it’s a lot more affordable and comes in two color option. It’s only $14.99 too!
